“I have always been a people person both in my life and my photography. The 60's took me to travel throughout Europe, Mexico & Colombia again taking lots of photos of people I met along the way. The 70's brought me to Wellfleet and the focus of my vision expanded due to the beauty of nature I experienced here. As I reflect on my photography over the past years, I realize that I just love meeting people, engaging with people, observing people and my photography reflects this.”

When I was 21, driving at night from Belgium, I saw a fairyland which I fell in love with, it was Paris the City of Lights. I have been enamored with that city for many years, visiting many times to take a wealth of photographs. On several trips, while riding on the bus during rainstorms I have taken photos of people whenever the bus stops or slows down. People I may never meet going about their daily lives and sometimes unrecognizable. I love the mystery of who they are and what their lives are like. People seen but not seen. This year I have added to my show of Paris in the Rain, Wellfleet in the rain, in the water, in the shadow, seen but not seen.”
