NANCY JENNER is a painter and mixed-media artist who lives in Boston and Wellfleet. Much of her work is conceptual, individual works and series that respond to an idea or theme.

During the pandemic, she spent more time in Wellfleet taking long walks on the beaches and dunes. These paintings began as a response to that unsettled time. She says of the seascapes “Focusing on the incredible beauty of the natural world is a way to gain perspective in times of incredible uncertainty. Nature is powerful and resilient, both a reminder of what is possible and what is at stake.”
